Apricots - a little jar of sunshine

Learn how to make apricot jam at Rosie's Preserving School UK
Fresh apricots are one of the first fruits to come onto the market and really bring hope for the Summer fruits to follow

It looks like the sun if you squint your eyes and certainly symbolises the promise of the warmth and sunshine to come

Apricot Jam is one of my most favourite of jams - breakfast toast is always a apricot- blackcurrant see-saw and no, I don't have one slice of each, it has to be all or nothing. This is even more weird as I hated apricots as a child which was unfortunate as my Mother felt about them as I do now. As I spent ,ost of my young life with my Mother I was naturally force-fed this most hated of fruits - it’s a wonder I ever tried them again of my own free will!

So we are not going to reinvent the wheel - let's just make some delicious apricot jam to end the Spring Season with some pizazz!

Our Workshops are friendly, no experience of cooking or preserving is necessary and we try to use everyday, familiar equipment. You can cook along with the Live Workshop or use the recording which will be place in The Library of the School soon after the Workshop finishes

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our preserving family

I've thoroughly enjoyed your workshops over the last year and have learnt so much about preserving - there's a whole world out there, not just jams! Your warm and friendly approach is greatly appreciated, and you answer all our questions with endless patience. Thanks for giving me the confidence to experiment - as you say, what could go wrong?!
