All About Apples

Apples are plentiful and delicious and make into very useful preserves at Rosie's Preserving School UK
The apple harvest sometimes seems to be endless especially if you are lucky enough to have a tree in your garden. The main thing is to try and use as many as possible so that they don't go to waste.

In the second live Workshop of the Autumn Season we will explore the best way to store apples just as they are, preserving them as jam, chutney, fruit leather, and drinks. They dehydrate incredibly well as slices which are invaluable throughout the Winter for adding to granola or popping in lunch boxes for a very satisfying snack.

During the Workshop we will be making a delicious Apple Curd and also using the last of the fresh herbs from the garden ( or supermarket!) to make herb jellies.

There are so many uses for apples they could almost be a whole season of Workshops just on them. Join me to cook along live or watch the recording later.

So, take advantage of the block booking discounts to access all of the Season's Workshops with the security of knowing you won't miss anything.

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our preserving family

I've thoroughly enjoyed your workshops over the last year and have learnt so much about preserving - there's a whole world out there, not just jams! Your warm and friendly approach is greatly appreciated, and you answer all our questions with endless patience. Thanks for giving me the confidence to experiment - as you say, what could go wrong?!
